At DialHub Technologies, we consider user privacy and confidential telecommunications paramount. DialHub is designed and engineered from the ground up as a 100% local-first Android phone dialer and call management utility.
We believe that your personal phone communications, phone calls, contact address book, and call histories are strictly private. DialHub does not collect, harvest, sell, rent, upload, or transmit your contact list, call history, or in-call audio to any remote server or cloud infrastructure operated by DialHub Technologies.
2Local-First Processing & Zero Remote Call Storage
All core functionality provided by DialHub—including live keypad dialing, T9 contact searching, incoming caller screen rendering, call logs listing, and contact sorting—is executed locally on your physical device hardware.
3Android Permissions Breakdown & Rationale
To replace or augment your system dialer, manage phone calls, and present an in-call heads-up interface, DialHub requests explicit permissions governed by Google Play Developer policies:
Technical Rationale: Required to display recent incoming, outgoing, and missed calls within the app's history tab, allowing users to return calls with one tap.
Data Safety: Call logs are retrieved strictly from Android's native ContentProvider on device. They are NEVER transmitted to external endpoints.
Technical Rationale: Enables T9 smart search on the dial pad and resolves caller IDs into saved contact names and photos.
Data Safety: Contact data remains strictly in local volatile RAM during execution. No contact scraping or uploading takes place.
Technical Rationale: Allows placing phone calls directly from the keypad and detecting the current telephony state (ringing, off-hook, call ended) to transition between the incoming screen and in-call screen.
Strict Non-Recording Guarantee: We do NOT record, log, transcribe, or archive audio conversations. This permission is utilized strictly by Android's telephony stack to pipe speech to your carrier during an ongoing call.
Technical Rationale: Required by modern Android OS to post heads-up notifications for incoming calls and missed call badges.
4Third-Party Advertising & Mediation Networks
To maintain DialHub as a free dialer, non-intrusive advertisements are served. We integrate exclusively with Google-certified ad networks:
- Google AdMob: Serves banner, interstitial, and native ad units strictly compliant with Google Play Families and Ad Policies. Privacy Policy

Third-party ad networks may collect pseudonymous identifiers (e.g. Google Advertising ID / GAID), device model, coarse IP geolocation, and app interaction telemetry to serve contextual ads, limit ad repetition, and prevent click fraud. None of these SDKs have access to your contacts or call audio.
5User Consent & Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA / UMP SDK)
We integrate the official Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to strictly comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK Data Protection Act, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Upon initial launch in applicable jurisdictions, a consent form is presented. You retain full autonomy to:
- Accept or reject personalized advertising
- Revoke previously granted consent anytime via
DialHub Settings > Privacy & Advertising Choices - Opt out of device identifier tracking directly via Android System Settings > Google > Ads > Reset or Delete Advertising ID
6Emergency Calling (911 / 112) Dispatch Compliance
DialHub respects telecommunication emergency standards. When an emergency telephone number is dialed (such as 911 in the USA/Canada, 112 in the EU, or 999 in the UK), the call is passed unconditionally to the Android operating system's native emergency call dispatcher.
Emergency calls bypass third-party VoIP services and route directly through cellular base stations, ensuring that cellular location telemetry is available to emergency responders.
7Children's Privacy (COPPA & Google Play Families Policy)
DialHub: Smart Phone & Dialer is intended for general audiences and is not targeted at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. 8Data Retention & Deletion
Because all call histories, contacts, and dialer configurations reside solely on your physical Android device, you have complete control over data retention:
- Deleting call history entries inside DialHub clears them from your device storage immediately.
- Uninstalling DialHub completely removes all cached preferences and temporary data created by the app.
- Since we store no cloud records, there is no remote user profile or database entry to delete.
